Terms & Conditions

These are the Booking Conditions applicable to holidays booked with Mondo Surf Village and should therefore be read carefully. Should any part of these conditions become invalid or unenforceable this will not affect the validity of the remainder of these conditions.

All booking contracts are with Mondo Surf  Village. Our guests, by paying the booking deposit are automatically accepting the full Terms & Conditions. The person making the booking must read these Terms & Conditions. In the case of a group booking the group leader or booking person must have the authority to sign on behalf of everyone in the group. The lead name will be responsible for the full cost of the holiday including insurance premiums, cancellations and amendment charges. No booking contract exists between Mondo Surf Village and the client until the booking payment has been received. Once the booking is received there is a cancellation policy that will apply with immediate effect. We reserve the right to refuse to accept bookings in our absolute discretion without stating the reason for doing so. Please inform us immediately if there are any discrepancies in the costs or details of your booking.

All the packages prices are in EUR per person per week/day, unless otherwise stated. Upon making your booking the price of your holiday will not be subject to change, however we reserve the right to increase or decrease prices due to variations in service charges, offers, insurance/security levels or exchange rates. Once a booking has been made discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. A deposit of 25% required at the time of booking. Once the confirmation has been dispatched, the deposit is non refundable. The final balance is due 4 weeks before the ARRIVAL date. If the final payment has not been received by this date we reserve the right to treat the booking as a cancellation. The final balance will still be due and payment obligation still exists according to our cancellation policy. In case the booking is made within 4 weeks of the arrival date the full amount (100%) is required for the booking confirmation.

Mondo Surf Village, will not accept bookings that are meant for re-selling with lower, equal or larger profits then what we offer on our website. In the case any of these bookings occurs without giving proper notice and with our proper approval, we are able to cancel the booking at anytime and claim full compensation of the booking and its total value. Re-sales are restricted to our own appointed agencies.

Mondo Surf Village requires written notice for any booking cancellation by its clients.

Refunds are done according the below:

  •  Cancellation over 4 weeks before the booking arrival date – loss of the deposit (25% of the total cost). There is the possibility of rescheduling this holiday, so the deposit is not completely lost. This is ONLY applicable for cancellations made over 4 weeks of the booking arrival date. The rescheduling has to be made for a period within 6 months of the canceled booking.
  • Cancellation 2 – 4 weeks before the booking arrival date – loss of 75% of holiday cost.
  • Cancellation under 2 weeks before the booking arrival date – loss of 100% of holiday cost.

Mondo Surf Village has the power to cancel any booking at any time due to reasons of ‘force majeure’ which include war, political unrest, strikes, acts of God, epidemics, natural and technical disaster, closure of ports and aircraft or if the clients default in the payment of the balance of the holiday price. In circumstances where Mondo Surf Village is unable to provide the booked holiday package, they will return all the money already paid, or offer you an alternative holiday with similar standard.

It is unlikely that Mondo Surf Village will make any changes to your holiday, but occasionally small changes may be made, which we reserve the right to do at any time. Most of these changes are minor and we will advise you at the earliest possible date.

Mondo Surf Village holidays start and finish the dates stated on your invoice or booking confirmation. We are not responsible for your travel to or from this point or for any expenses, including travel accommodation, subsistence and loss of earnings, caused by delayed return to your departure point.

All packages (accommodation, activities and extra activities) reserved at Mondo Surf Village are personal and not transferable to a different guest. Exceptions can be made for guests under the same Booking number. Mondo Surf Village’s team team will accept or not the transfer.
This rule is applicable in case the booking guest(s) is(are) not able to arrive at Mondo Village or incapable of joining the activities.

It may sometimes be necessary to combine, on certain transfers, customers arriving or departing on more than one flight, which may require additional waiting time at the airport or at your previous accommodation. Sometimes our airport transfers are contracted to a local agency. The departure times from Mondo Surf Village is 3 hours prior to your flight departure.

The surf guides at Mondo Surf Village are qualified instructors. They will take you to surf spots and suggest where to surf but are not in any way responsible for clients safety or for injury or death whilst surfing.

The Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Bungee Fitness and Martial Arts coaches at Mondo Surf Village are qualified instructors. They will make sure you have your training under a safe environment and avoiding injury. They are not responsible for any kind of injury, loss or death during practice. We recommend all guest to have a good travel and health insurance.

Bookings made through accredited agents will follow Mondo Surf Village Terms & Conditions followed by our agents Terms & Conditions whatever they are. Mondo Surf Village is not responsible if the booked holidays do not correspond to what is offered in the agents brochure or online information. Mondo Surf Village accepts the responsibility of ensuring that the holiday you book matches the online description in Mondo Surf Village website. If any service is not provided as promised, we will consider to pay the appropriate compensation if it affected the enjoyment of the package. If you wish to make a complaint or claim whilst on holiday you must report it to the relevant supplier of the problem in question and to Mondo Surf Village representatives, thereby giving them the opportunity to solve the problem. We cannot accept any liability whatsoever if we are not informed immediately, of any problem during your stay. Complaints not resolved completely in resort should be made in writing within 28 days of the end of the holiday. We will not accept liability for claims received after this period.

While staying with Mondo Surf Village the clients are expected to behave in an orderly and acceptable manner. They are expected to accept responsibility for the conduct of themselves and their party. Should their behavior threaten the condition of the accommodations, vehicles or seriously impair the enjoyment of other guests, Mondo Surf Village reserves the right to refuse to further accommodate the guilty guest/party and contractual obligations will be terminated. The guilty party will be liable for the cost of any damage caused.

Everyone booking a holiday with Mondo Surf  Village should/must have full travel insurance. Mondo Surf & Lifestyle Village accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or injury to persons or property during their stay.

Our paid excursion are non-refundable. Excursion are only subject for refund if Mondo Surf Village is not able to organize the excursion due to any unexpected circumstances or when the required minimum amount of participants is not reached. The decision to cancel any excursion can only be made by Mondo Surf Village.

During the Indonesian public holiday Nyepi no one is allowed to leave the Mondo Surf Village grounds and no surf sessions will be held that day. Any noncompliance with this day’s rules will be subject to consequences. Airport pick ups and drop off can be also compromised the day before Nyepi and therefore we request all guests to be comprehensive and accept our driver’s decision making or not the pick up. By rule, pick ups after 18:00 won’t be made.
