Alana Blanchard
Alana was born on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii in 1990. She was only four years old when her father started teaching her surfing at Hanalei Pier which is still her favourite surf spot. She first won the T&C Women’s Pipeline Championships in 2005 in shortboard which was followed with several further triumphs of championships. She is a passionate animal lover, therefore vegan and adores to spend time with her family far from the crowd, in Hawaii.
Bethany Hamilton
Bethany is a good friend of Alana, was born also on Kauai in the same year, 1990. At the age of thirteen her rising surf career seemed to end as she suffered a shark attack and lost her left arm. Nevertheless, she returned to the water and 26 days after the accident she took the 2nd place of NSSA National Championships. Her story was written in a bestseller autobiography then adopted to a movie, the Soul Surfer. She promotes living a healthy lifestyle through her platforms and has a foundation which supports amputees and youth.
Coco Ho
Coco was inspired to learn surfing to impress her professional surfer older brother, Mason Ho at the age of seven. Her family has more surf legends, just like her father, Michael Ho and her uncle, Derek Ho. Coco has won over 25 surfing awards and has been in the top three favourites in Surfer magazine’s Surfer Poll. Her surfing style is infused with a sense of ease what characterizes her movements. She inspires girls and women to break through their barriers, dare to fight for their dreams and make them come true.
Stephanie Gilmore
The 27 years old, Australian Stephanie has been a dominated member of professional women surfers since 2007. Her first world title was followed with three consecutive world titles and today, she is a six-time world surfing champion. Besides her 6 world titles and 24 Elite World Tour victories, she was awarded the most prestigious award in action sports worldwide. In between competitions, she travels the world discovering and photographing new waves and cities, and is living a gypset lifestyle.
Sally Fitzgibbons
Sally is a real energy bomb who still has the same amount of fun in the ocean as she had as a little girl in New South Wales, Australia. She always wanted to do the same things that her three brothers which, as a motivation, made her strong and energetic. Besides succeeding in surfing, she did dozens of sports and run to gold medals at the Youth Olympics in 2007. Today, she has a personal trainer qualification completed with her FITZ fitness program created in the light of the connection of health, well-being and self-confidence.
